Pray for a national figure. Ask God to extend them wisdom and grace.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.
Prayer Starter:
Gracious God, there is so much I don't understand in the world. We are such a divided people. Help me to be part of a solution instead of adding to the division and strife. Lord, it's easy to be critical and judgmental of people in the public eye. Give me the grace to pray for Your will and wisdom for those who lead us today.
