One Minute Moment
Praise God for the freedom we have in our country to worship Him freely.
Hebrews 12: 28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Prayer starter:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the freedom we have in you and for the freedom we have to join in prayer and to worship you. Lord, we know that freedom, is not free and that our freedom from sin and death came because Jesus died for us. Please help us to live with gratitude every day for the freedoms that Christ bought for us.
We also appreciate that the freedoms we enjoy as a country; the freedom to worship freely, to pray openly and to own a Bible are freedoms that so many around the world do not have. Lord, help us to remember all the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much on our behalf so we could love and worship you freely.
